SET PHASERS TO SCUNGE
Born in the deserts of Afghanistan and completed in the splendour of the Rhondda Valley. Tonypandy Producer Paul D Sheppard releases Set Phasers to Scunge, a collection of tracks recorded whilst working as a civilian in the North Eastern Herat province.
Having been signed by Damaged Goods and Factory too records in the 90's playing lead guitar in indie band Hopper. Their album, English and French, produced by Bernard Butler and engineered by Nigel Godrich was their only full length release and after splitting up.
Paul returned to the Rhondda Valley and began work on the ubiquitous laptop creating Electro, Hip Hop and ambient tunes. Over 100 tunes were recorded and these have been whittled down to 13 tracks for fans of Death in Vegas, Boards of Canada, Orbital and MF Doom.
